I was thinking about the period ‘.’ symbol and how a circle resonates with the state of being calm, safe, human, friendly, and feeling protected. With research, I was fascinated with how blockchain timestamping creates untamperable proof, the exact technology that would help Carlos.

I realised the word ‘stamp’ from timestamping followed a traditional circular stamp sign that also resonates with a period or full stop.

Hence, this concept naturally followed a circular period (.) dot that not only symbolises certainty but also a stamp and also the circular lens of a phone camera that Carlos carries.

The most important moment is the ‘time’ when Carlos enters the apartment and starts clicking photos with the mykeyz app. Because ‘time’ is what will create proof. Hence, the valley shape of the brand’s first letter ‘M’ has been developed quietly and subtly using clock hands. Clock hands ‘tick’ and tick in another sense and meaning, also symbolise certainty as well as the right side, and the right side ultimately creates the strong side.

This second concept uses a customized version of Inter, refined with softer, more circular forms to align with the core idea behind MyKeyz: turning moments into trusted records. The circular geometry of the custom “M” connects directly to several meaningful aspects of the product. A circle naturally symbolizes calm, protection, trust, and peace of mind—the emotional outcome Carlos is seeking when moving into a new property. It also subtly references a smartphone camera lens, representing the critical moment when Carlos captures the evidence that will later become proof. The valley of the “M” is shaped to suggest two clock hands, reflecting the importance of time and timestamping within MyKeyz’s verification process, where every photo is permanently linked to a specific moment. The circular period further strengthens this idea, acting as both a traditional document stamp and a final full stop—symbolizing completion, verification, and proof.

Combined with Deep Midnight and Heritage Gold, the identity feels authoritative yet human. Deep Midnight conveys trust, confidence, and professionalism, while Heritage Gold represents verification, approval, and documented truth. Together, these elements create a brand that feels reassuring, dependable, and quietly powerful—helping Carlos feel protected, prepared, and confident that the truth has been properly recorded.
